Mulheres
Sem Seios

Based on elements of traditional African dances, Brazilian popular dances, street dances, and capoeira angola, she intends to question stereotypes linked to different roles played by women in society. Based on a caricature of women as a way to question our society, the movement research of this work explores a hybrid state that does not fit the norms: an ambivalent figure between "feminine" and "masculine", aggressive and passive, strong and vulnerable, crude and sensitive, grotesque and beautiful, which is not necessarily one or the other, but all this at the same time. It discusses the fascination and contradictions contained in the “warrior woman” archetype that appears in several myths of the “Amazons” (also known as “women without breasts”).
